You have wandered here for a reason, and a pretty darn good reason at that.
Food is important, and “good food” even more.
Zillions of years ago, you and I sat next to a bonfire and roasted a boar and ate it without salt. It was a simple start to the phenomenon of cooking.
Then you and I invented the wheels, the boat and later the biplane, and we started the next big adventure, that of sharing food and the inevitable fusion of food ideas that has transformed this planet. As a result, we have sliced pizza, kedgerees with fish, gradual variations of the Moroccan pilafs all the way through middle east to the royal biryanis of the Indian subcontinent, curry in the Carribean, Dutch sausages in South Africa, Russian Vodka with American Martini, and Chinese food all over the world with all its localized variations!
We have finger food, bar food, comfort food, fast food, gluten free food, low cal food, vegan food, religious food and not so religious food. We have fine dining, take-outs, bistros, pizzerias, bakeries, cafes, lounges, theme restaurants and street carts.
There must be a good reason why we have all that, don’t you think?
Salt.Pepper.Chili is our love for food, the excitement of trying something new, the satisfaction of doing it yourself, and the joy of sharing it with foodies like you!
